Created in 2011, the Bells of Blessing Concert brings local church bell choirs together to make music and share a message of hope. This year, 30 to 50 ringers from churches throughout the community will join together as “Hands in Concert Bringing Hope.” The Salvation Army, both a church and a community service organization, rings its kettle bells during the holiday season to gather donations supporting programs that benefit our community. Join us for this free concert, with an offering collected to benefit the Modesto Salvation Army. Interested ensembles and individual ringers are invited to participate! The holidays are all the more delightful when you include Opus Handbell Ensemble in your entertainment plans! This advanced community handbell choir has been performing their extraordinarily beautiful music in the Modesto area since 1992. They play a highly unique instrument requiring precision eye-hand coordination, music reading ability and great teamwork. Tickets may be purchased at the door and are $20 for adults, $15 for students, and $10 for children under 12.

Slow down and enjoy the holiday season with your favorite Christmas hymns and carols are performed by the Modesto Symphony Orchestra, MSO Chorus, and the Opus Handbell Ensemble.

Celebrate the season with the beautiful sound of handbells! Join the Opus Handbell Ensemble for a special afternoon performance at the Haggin Museum. The program is included with regular museum admission.
